Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and private equity. She is licensed to practice law in Mexico and California.
Experience
She has represented clients in domestic and cross-border transactions, including the purchase and sale of companies, joint ventures, public and private financing, shareholder disputes, and the negotiation of minority rights. She also provides advice regarding data privacy. Recently, she has studied and written about the potential impact of artificial intelligence on the practice of law.
Rebeca has offered her expertise in the acquisition, investment, and financing of projects across a diverse array of industries, including hospitality, pharmaceutical, automotive, energy, education, real estate, finance, and technology.
She is admitted to the State Bar of California. She serves as President of the Board of Directors for the ITAM Alumni Association in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a member of the San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association.
Academic Degrees
She holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) and completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Financial Law at Goethe Universität in Frankfurt, Germany.
